A Ladder to the Heaven 

2000, Guilin; installation and performance, 600x700x1000cm, wooden pavilion, stainless steel

Cutting off columns of the wooden pavilion, 24 people raise the tope of the pavilion and move aside by 70cm, then open a skylight at its roof, install a 12m-long metal ladder through the skylight.
